-79-南予医誌 Vol.20 No. 1 2020 A male in his 60s had sudden abdominal pain and massive retroperitoneal hemorrhage and was subsequently brought to our institute from another hospital. He was diagnosed with a ruptured aneurysm of the anterior inferior pancreaticoduodenal artery associated with median arcuate ligament syndrome (MALS), and was treated with selective transcatheter arterial embolization using microcoils. In recent years, narrowing of the root of the celiac artery including MALS has drawn attention as a cause of pancreaticoduodenal artery aneurysm.
