-37-南予医誌 Vol.20 No. 1 2020Bile duct stones are usually treated by endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography. However, treating certain bile duct stones, such as a large or/and multiple bile duct stones, is sometimes challenging. A digital single-operator cholangioscope (SpyGlass DS) is now commercially available. The SpyGlass DS has several benets, such as easier insertion into the biliary tract and good visualization. Performing electrohydraulic lithotripsy with SpyGlass DS is useful for dicult bile duct stones. However, only a few studies have evaluated the SpyGlass DS. We report that cases of dicult bile duct stones can be treated with SpyGlass DS.Department of GastroenterologyUwajima City HospitalGoten-machi, Uwajima, Ehime 798-8510, JapanAbstractYoshinori Ohno, Yuuki Numata, Masaya Okada, Ryou Yano, Yusuke Okujima, Kazuhiro Uesugi, Fujimasa TadaUsefulness of electrohydraulic lithotripsy under digital single-operator cholangioscopy for difficult bile duct stonesKey words:bile duct stone, SpyGlass DS, electrohydraulic lithotripsy
