南予医誌　Vol.18　No. １　2017－22－Crash caesarian sections performed in our hos-pital over 7 yearsAbstract　We define crash caesarian sections as those performed under general anesthesia. Of 2868 childbirths, 834（29.1％）were caesarean sections, of which 391（13.6％）were planned, 431（15.0％）were emergencies, and 12（0.42％）were crash cases. We reviewed the length of surgery time, the decision-to-delivery（D-D）time, and the prognosis of crash cases. The D-D time was 20 min longer on holidays and at night, but did not significantly affect outcomes.
