桐澤、他：高磁場MRI画像診断南予医誌　Vol.17　No. １　2016－77－Abstract　We used high-eld magnetic resonance imaging （MRI） systems in two cases of mastica-tory muscle tendon-aponeurosis hyperplasia. The 1.5- and 3.0-Tesla MRI showed low-inten-sity areas in the anterior and internal parts of the masseter muscle. Bilateral coronoidotomy and aponeurectomy of the masseter muscle were performed via an intraoral route under general anesthesia.
