清村、他：当院における全腹腔鏡下子宮全摘術南予医誌 Vol.15 No. １ 2014－41－Abstract In gynecologic surgery, endoscopic operations are becoming increasingly popular. Our department is also increasing the number of endoscopic surgeries every year. We started total laparoscopic hysterectomy (TLH) in November 2012 to make it a standard surgical ap-proach. We performed TLH on 20 cases. Compared to abdominal total hysterectomy, adaptations of TLH were restricted and the operation time was prolonged, but the amount of bleeding did not increase, and no serious complications occurred. Neither ureteral injury nor vaginal stump dehiscence occurred; both are well-known complications of TLH. Compared with laparotomies, endoscopic surgeries are less invasive and safer.
