上野、他：乳癌胃転移の３例南予医誌 Vol.14 No. １ 2013－61－Abstract We report herein three cases of gastric metastasis from breast cancer. The affected pa-tients were 59-, 61-, and 82-year-old women. All were diagnosed with metastasis from breast cancer by upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and biopsy, and the breast cancer metastasized not only to the stomach but also to the ovary or bone. All patients underwent chemotherapy and endocrine therapy. It is said that breast cancer metastasis to the stomach often shows the appearance of Borrmann type 4 or linitis plastica gastric cancer by endoscopy. In all three patients, endoscopy and radiology revealed a type 4 tumor in the body of the stom-ach.
